  3. This Express Modem software can be run on the following machines
  4. with their respective modem cards:

  6. - PowerBook 160, 165, 165c, 180, 180c using an internal Apple PowerBook
  7. 14.4 Modem Card.

  9. - PowerBook Duo 210, 230, 250, 270c, 280, 280c using an internal Apple 
  10. PowerBook Duo 14.4 Modem.

  12. - PowerBook 520, 520c, 540, 540c using an internal Apple PowerBook 
  13. Express Modem II Card.
  14.  
  15. - LC 575, Macintosh 630 using an internal Macintosh Express Fax/Modem.

  17. - The Express Fax software also allows you to send faxes with
  18. PowerBook models 100, 140, 145, 150 and 170 when used with the Apple
  19. PowerBook Fax/Data Modem.

  22. - Preferred CCL scripts for AppleTalk Remote Access:
  23.   ARA 1.0: "Express Modem 14400"
  24.   ARA 2.0: "Express Modem ARA 2.0" (in "Modem Documents" folder

  27. - Fax V.17 (High Speed) reception:
  28. Some fax machines may not work well with the high-speed (V.17) fax
  29. capabilities of Express Modem. If you find you are having problems
  30. sending or receiving a fax, try turning off the V.17 option in the
  31. Fax Terminal Preferences dialog.
